Working Together

When somebody decides to work with me, I know they’re bringing not only their hopes for change, but also the weight of everything they’ve been carrying - their fears about being seen as too sensitive, too needy, too quirky, too emotional, too different, too much or simply not enough.

Taking that first step can feel overwhelming - especially if you’ve spent years feeling unseen, dismissed, or trying to twist yourself into expectations that never really fit.

That’s why everything we do will be tailored around you.

I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. What helps one person might not work for another, so I’ll never ask you to fit into a rigid framework. Instead, our focus will be on finding strategies that genuinely support you - easing the pressure in different parts of your life (from energy management and sensory sensitivities, to organisation, nervous system regulation, and relationships). This isn’t about fixing you - because you’re not broken.

It’s about creating gentler, more grounded ways of living that feel manageable, meaningful, and built for you.

A doormat with the words Come As You Are

My professional background spans relational psychotherapy, person-centred therapy, and CBT, alongside wellbeing coaching, health psychology, EFT, matrix reimprinting, belief coding, and NLP. I also have specialist experience in supporting those living with chronic health conditions (including CFS/ME, fibromyalgia, and Long Covid), eating disorders, and trauma, and a personal interest in working with neurodivergent people.

My background and experience inform the wide toolkit I bring - but more importantly, they allow us to choose what feels most useful and relevant for you.

Because what really matters isn’t a list of approaches - it’s how we use them together. Our sessions will be guided by you: your priorities, your values, your energy, and your goals. Sometimes we’ll spend time making sense of past experiences. Other times, we’ll focus on what’s happening right now or on the future you want to build. We may try out gentle tools or experiment with small changes between sessions. And because healing and growth don’t happen in a single hour each week, we can plan small, meaningful tasks to support you in daily life - always tailored to what feels realistic for you.

I won’t rush or push you, but when you’re ready, I’ll be with you as you take steps towards ways of living that feel more balanced, authentic, and your own.

The way I work is guided not only by professional training but also by lived experience. I know what it feels like to be on the outside looking in - and that’s why I care so deeply about building a relationship that feels safe, respectful, and collaborative. Here, you’ll be met with warmth and understanding, in a place where you don’t have to keep it all together, and where who you are is already enough.

If you’d like to know more about the experiences that influenced the way I work, you can find out more in my story.
